Alarco Direct400 combines water purification filters for complete protection against all the categories of harmful substances we may encounter in it. It occupies minimal space in the kitchen and is placed on the counter, thus avoiding punctures, unlike other appliances of this type, as it has a modern design, compact size and direct flow function (without a water storage tank). This also allows you to easily connect the appliance to the tap with a two-position switch to take either (i) filtered water to drink and wash fruits and vegetables, or (ii) water from the tap for other uses.

The operation of the Alarco Direct400 is based on the completely natural and universally recognized reverse osmosis method which, thanks to its 0.0001 micron size pores, addresses even the most difficult harmful soluble substances that can be found in water such as micro-organisms (0.20 micron), salts (0.007 micron) and/or heavy metals (0.001 micron).

Thanks to the hardness control system, the water that ends up in our glass, apart from being clean, is also very delicious, since all the essential and valuable trace elements that affect not only its taste but also its quality are preserved.

The Alarco Direct400 is intended for more “difficult” mains water than the water in large urban cities, for example:
• for areas where water is hard (calcium and magnesium salts),
• coastal areas with brackish water (sodium, chlorides),
• industrial areas with water affected by heavy metals and/or organic compounds,
• areas where water has high concentrations of nitrites, nitrates, sulphates due to contamination from fertilizers and/or urban waste water.

Our excellent activated carbon is plant-based (100% coconut-bark), bacteriostatic (blocking microbial growth) and is accompanied by EN 12902, EN 12915 and NSF certifications. The 400G Reverse Osmosis membrane with 0.0001 micron (capable of outputting 1,500 L / day) and the Ultra-filtration membrane (0.01 micron) are NSF certified. The plastic part (WRAS-certified) and all parts of the apparatus in contact with water are fully suitable for food.

Finally, it should be noted that the performance of the appliance is tested by the National Technical University of Athens, which has even carried out an aging test, which confirms the excellent quality of the water that ends up in our glass from the first to the last day of the lifetime of the spare parts (cartridges and membranes). The Alarco Direct400 will become your healthy habit, by you and your family drinking crystal clear water. At the same time, you save money from using bottled water, protect the environment from the use of plastics, and of course, never run out of water.

Reverse Osmosis filter, countertop installation, of 5-stages.
Direct flow (without water storage tank).
Mixed pre-treatment cartridge consisting of fine aggregate quartz sand, polypropylene (PP) filters of 100, 10 and 1 microns, and bacteriostatic plant activated carbon, 100% made of coconut bark, dipped in silver.
RO membrane (0.0001 micron): 400 GPD (1,500 litres of water / day).
Cartridge, with bacteriostatic plant activated carbon, 100% made of coconut bark, soaked with silver and polypropylene filters (PP) of 100, 10 and 1 microns.
Ultra filtration membrane (UF) (0.1 micron).
Fitted with a micro-metric water hardness (flavour) control valve.
Comes with a high-pressure pump.
Requires power supply.

The Alarco Direct400 can handle:
• Suspended solids such as mud, stones, soil, asbestos fibers, turbidity, rust, suspended particles, etc.
• Disinfecting agents such as chlorine, etc.
• Organic compounds such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, trihalomethanes (THMs), pesticides, volatile compounds that impart an unpleasant taste and odour in water (VOCs, phenols) etc.
• Micro-organisms such as e-coli, enterococci, coliforms, viruses, etc.
• Salts & Ions such as water hardness (calcium and magnesium salts), chloride, nitrate, nitrite, sodium, sulphate, ammonium, boron, etc.
• Heavy metals such as iron, manganese, chromium, cadmium, lead, arsenic, mercury, nickel, etc.
